Therefore, identifying a leading pathophysiological mechanism that forms certain pathogenetic subtypes of TIA and determines TIA heterogeneity remains a promising direction of clinical angioneurology, predetermines the choice of therapeutic strategy and the scope of medical care for TIA patients. We have performed an analytical review of scientific publications for the last 15 years based on analysis of modern scientometric databases and libraries of Ukraine, the EU, US, UK.
