Abstract

The article presents the relevance of chronic lower back pain, describes the differential diagnosis of mechanical nonspecific pain in the lower back, presents the features of the differential diagnosis of sacroiliac joint syndrome as a cause of pain in the lower back. Based on the principles of evidence-based medicine, the features of diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to the treatment of patients with chronic lower back pain are highlighted.
