Abstract

We evaluated the efficacy of a homeopathic drug Cefavora (Cefak, Germany) in the correction of headaches at vegetovascular dystonia in women during pre- and menopause. The study group included 52 women aged 37 to 55 years who had cephalalgia of various origins and manifestations of vegetative dystonia. All patients underwent general clinical, neurological and psychological examination. The proposed formulation has vasoactive, venotoniс, neuroprotective, cardiotonic effects, improves blood rheology and microcirculation. As a result of treatment we noted a positive dynamics in the clinical picture in a form of decreased intensity of cephalgic syndrome, as well as normalized autonomic function in women during pre- and menopause. Сefavora may be recommended for periodic courses in monotherapy or combined treatment.
