Data of Open-label Parallel Active Control Postmarketing Trial of Trittico Effectiveness and Safety in Comparison with Standard Therapy in Patients with Non-Psychotic Depressive Disorders

Abstract


The paper reviewed the trials of trazodone effectiveness for depression, anxiety, insomnia and pain manifestations treatment. As well the paper presents the authors’ open-label controlled randomized comparative investigation of trazodone effectiveness and safety in patients with depressive episode. The results confirm the benefits of multimodal agent Trittico in comparison with the standard therapy of depression as to the more rapid action and higher anxiolytic activity and effectiveness in regard to insomnia reduction.
