Post-Stroke Fatigue: Etiology and Pathogenesis, Modern Principles of Management (Literature Review)

Abstract


The article discusses and analyzes the current literature data about post-stroke fatigue. We analyze the incidence, features of the clinical course of post-stroke fatigue, its negative impact on the processes of post-stroke recovery and quality of life of patients. An overview of the main risk factors, mechanisms of post-stroke fatigue is performed, its multifactorial, complex nature has been shown. The modern principles of the diagnosis, prevention and correction of post-stroke fatigue are considered.
