Cardiac Disturbances in Patients with Epilepsy. Use of Levetiracetam in the Treatment of Epilepsy in Patients with Cardiac Disturbances

T.A. Litovchenko, V.N. Grimailo

Abstract

The article presents the data of world literature and our own observations on cardiac rhythm and conduction disturbances, as well as the presence of cardiovascular risk factors in patients with epilepsy. Correlation of neurophysiological, ultrasound, biochemical indices with cardiac disturbances in these patients has been considered. The features of antiepileptic therapy in patients with epilepsy and cardiac disturbances are provided.
