the role of cholinergic deficiency in the pathogenesis of neuropsychiatric diseasest

L.A. Dziak, O.S. Tsurkalenko

Abstract

A review of the literature on the role of dysfunction of the cholinergic system in the formation of various pathologies of the central nervous system is made. The data on the pathogenetic mechanisms of impaired consciousness and cognitive dysfunction are presented. Modern approaches to the correction of cholinergic deficiency are described.
