The article deals with the treatment of patients with chronic ischemic cerebral disorders. The attention is paid to the use of alpha-lipoic acid. In the article it is studied the influence of alpha-lipoic acid product, Espa-lipon, on the clinical changes of asthenic syndrome in chronic cerebral ischemia. The effectiveness and safety of its use as an antioxidant, metabolic neuroprotector in patients with discirculatory encephalopathy were confirmed.
